Annual Fund
The development office raises money from alums, friends and churches. The annual support needed for the seminary this fiscal year (July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010) is $935,000. Your support will provide the encouragement and dollars necessary to enable Garrett-Evangelical to maintain and strengthen its leadership role among seminaries across the country.

Why does my gift matter?
Garrett-Evangelical is ranked as one of the top 10 seminaries in fundraising by the Council for Aid to Education in its book, 2008 Voluntary Support of Education. Garrett-Evangelical is the only seminary in the nation to be in the top 10 for 22 years in a row. With your gift, we will continue to hold our top ranking in terms of alumni/ae support and participation. Our top ranking helps us attract and retain a greater number of extraordinary students and faculty. It will add value to each degree we award. It sends an important message that our alums value their degrees and want to invest in our students.
How will my gift be used?
Your gift will be used for daily operating expenses. In simple terms, your gift allows us to open the front door each and every day, your gift allows us to remain open.
How often will I be solicited?
Your name is removed from the solicitation list for the fiscal year as soon as your gift arrives.
When does the fiscal year begin and end?
Our fiscal year runs July 1st through June 30th.
How much should I give?
Give as you are able. All gifts matter and are appreciated. Did you know that making a first gift of any amount is just as important as how much you give? Last year many alums elected to give monthly through an automatic deduction in order to give more. To learn how access the monthly giving form for complete details.
